Commercials Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven and highly experienced Commercials Manager

to lead our bidding, estimating, budgeting, and contract management functions. This is

a senior role that sits at the heart of how we win work, protect our margins, and manage

our financial exposure across projects.

You will be involved from the earliest stage of a bid through to project close out, and you

will be expected to bring both the technical rigour and the competitive instinct that wins

large scale contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and own the commercials function across active projects and new

business pursuits

• Drive outbound bid registrations and take an aggressive, strategy led approach

to competitive tendering

• Prepare and review estimates, BOQs, and pricing submissions for large-scale

bids

• Develop and manage project budgets from award through to completion

• Monitor committed costs and financial forecasts at each stage of a project

lifecycle

• Manage contract negotiations, terms review, and escalation of clauses that

expose F15Works to unacceptable financial or legal risk

• Track and manage payment milestones, flagging delays or risks to the leadership

team in a timely manner

• Work in close coordination with the procurement team to align vendor costs with

commercial submissions

• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making on bids, margins, and

cost performance

• Maintain and update commercial trackers with precision across all live

opportunities and projects

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience, ideally within the events, fit-out,

production, or temporary structures industry

• A proven track record of contributing to and winning large scale bids and project

contracts

• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management, and procurement within

project-based environments

• Hands-on experience in contract management and risk identification

• Excellent financial analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
