We are looking for a passionate and skilled Commis 2 to join our culinary team at Isola Ristorante, an elegant Italian concept inspired by the southern Mediterranean lifestyle. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in the main section (hot kitchen) and a genuine passion for Italian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Demi Chef and Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook dishes in the main section, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as directed by the Head Chef.
- Maintain proper mise en place and cleanliness in your section at all times.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Support smooth service during peak hours and assist other sections when required.
- Contribute ideas to menu improvements and new dish presentations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 12 years of experience as Commis 2 or in a similar role in an Italian or Mediterranean restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of hot kitchen operations (grill, sauce, pasta, etc.).
- Passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to join immediately is an advantage.
