What We're Looking For

• A proven track record as a Commis 2 or similar role, in a Luxury Hotel environment or Fine Dining Restaurant, delivering Sensational Experiences synonymous with FIVE's Award-Winning Service Quality.
  
• A Culinary Degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
  
• Outstanding Pre-Opening experience in setting up dynamic, seamless and fast-paced Kitchen Operations.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in Food Preparation, and Presentation and Plating Methods.
  
• Extensive Knowledge of diverse International Cuisine, expert Culinary Techniques, and contemporary Food Trends.
  
• Proven ability to Follow Instructions Accurately and Exceed Expectations, even when working under pressure.
  
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills to engage effectively with fellow FIVERs and other stakeholders.
  
• A Meticulous Eye for Detail, and a Passion for ensuring that every aspect of Food Quality and Presentation is perfectly curated, creating a FIVE-Star Dining Experience.
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles and practices, and a thorough understanding of Health and Safety Regulations, Food Hygiene Standards, and Best Practices in Restaurant Operations.
  
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the requirements of the Hotel.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees the Preparation and Presentation of dishes, ensuring they meet the Highest Culinary Standards.
  
• Provides critical support to Senior Chefs in the Kitchen, ensuring that Food Production and Service are orchestrated seamlessly, and meet even the most Discerning Guest's Expectations.
  
• Takes charge of Mise En Place and Stock Rotation to guarantee the smooth flow of Operations, maintaining an organised and efficient Kitchen Environment.
  
• Executes Tasks assigned by Senior Chefs promptly and efficiently.
  
• Actively engages in Menu Development, offering bespoke and innovative ideas for New Dishes that elevate the FIVE dining experience.
  
• Adheres rigorously to all Food Safety and Hygiene Standards, ensuring the premium quality our guests expect from us.
  
• Fosters Effective Collaboration with fellow FIVERs, ensuring seamless Operations in our vibrant and dynamic Kitchens.
  
• Contributes to the creation of a Positive and Productive Work Environment that embodies the quintessential Vibe at FIVE.
  
• Stays up-to-date with advancements and developments in Culinary Practices, Techniques and Trends.
  
• Embraces and upholds FIVE-Star Standards uncompromisingly in every aspect of the role.
