We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Commis to assist in the preparation of healthy and nutritious meals. The ideal candidate will support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining hygiene and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients and dishes according to recipes and portion standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
- Support plating and presentation of healthy meals.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in inventory management and reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Help with basic kitchen equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis or kitchen assistant preferred.
- Basic knowledge of healthy cooking techniques and nutritional guidelines.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
