Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Vommis chef or Line Cook, based in Doha, Qatar. The Line Cook will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Key responsibilities include ensuring quality and consistency in dishes, adhering to food safety standards, managing food inventory, and collaborating with the kitchen team to execute menu items efficiently. Attention to detail and teamwork are crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Experience in working as part of a kitchen team to maintain efficient operations
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous culinary training or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Experience in seafood preparation, especially prawns, is advantageous
