Summary-
We are seeking a skilled Commis II to join our team and assist in preparing delicious dishes in our kitchen.
Job Responsibility-
- Assist in preparing ingredients and setting up workstations.
- Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure food quality.
- Cook and plate dishes according to instructions from the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Help with inventory management and stock control.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Candidate Requirements-
- Proven experience as a Commis II or similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take directions.
- Physical endurance to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots or pans.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
