Position: Commissioning Engineer - Offshore
Location: Doha, Qatar
Industry: EPIC / Oil & Gas (Offshore)
Preferred Skill: EPC, Wellhead, Jacket, Platform/Offshore
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, or any relevant technical field).
- Total Experience Minimum 12+ years of experience in commissioning and at least 3 years in offshore projects (e.g., Wellhead jackets).
- Experience managing commissioning activities in large-scale industrial, EPC/EPIC oil & gas, or power generation projects. Proven track record of successfully commissioning complex systems and managing a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Experience: total 12+ years in those 3 years offshore
Skills:
- Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of commissioning processes, technical systems, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiar with dossier preparation for smooth handover of facilities.
- Capable of preparing commissioning engineering documents and method statements.
- Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning on multidisciplinary projects.
- Experience reviewing engineering deliverables related to operability and interface requirements.
- Experience with ICAPS/winPCS completion management systems.
- Ability to drive mechanical completion through facility handover.
- Offshore experience is required.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions during commissioning.
- Excellent communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Project management skills: Experience in managing large projects, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of commissioning milestones.
- Attention to detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure that all systems meet specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Risk management: Ability to identify and mitigate risks related to commissioning activities.
- Cost management: Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving cost-efficient commissioning outcomes.
- HSE awareness: Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe commissioning practices.
