Commissioning Engineer - PV

We're Hiring | Commissioning Engineer – Renewable Energy

Hassan Allam Holding is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our team and contribute to major renewable energy and power projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute commissioning activities for Solar PV, renewable energy, and power plant projects.
• Conduct inspection, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform testing and commissioning of PV systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, MV/LV systems, and related equipment.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure systems are ready for commissioning.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test records, checklists, and documentation.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers during commissioning activities.
• Support the successful handover of commissioned systems to the client.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–6 years of experience in testing and commissioning activities.
• Previous experience in Solar PV, Power Plants, Solar Stations, or Renewable Energy Projects is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, inverters, protection systems, and PV systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
• Good command of English.
