Duration: 15 months (Extendable)
Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).

Job summary/Role description
- Commissioning Machinery Supervisor executes the activities pertaining to the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the plant.
- He / She operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health / environmental / safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
- He / She reports to the Commissioning Machinery Superintendent (CMT).
- He / She is assigned to the project by AVIMP Head of Department.
Duties and responsibilities
- To develop the detailed pre-commissioning procedures for machinery & packages, procedures for the functional tests of the machineries according to the instructions of commissioning machinery superintendent.
- To field check the DAC and prepare relevant commissioning punch list, following the CME instructions.
- Expediting closing of pending punch list items in accordance with commissioning superintendent (COT) priorities.
- Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out in accordance with the procedures and requirements.
- Ensure all safety rules are in force and are followed in field.
- Supervise the works of vendors specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
- To organize and manage the operations in field of the assigned team from the subcontractor by controlling their job and the implementation of plant safety procedures in case of emergency.
- Support the vendors specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the commissioning supervisors.

- To keep records of all activities performed in the logbook.
- To produce the certificates, duly signed by the involved parties, and handover to certification engineer (QA/QC).
- Responsible for ongoing maintenance (planned and corrective maintenance on plant units already in operation) in accordance with commissioning superintendent (COT) and commissioning machinery superintendent (CMT) priorities.
- Can be the authorized person designated by the site manager to receive or issue a permit to work according to the project permit to work procedure.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in construction of large oil & gas plants / EPC projects.
