Communication Engineer (Offshore) Job Description
We are looking for
Communication Engineer, the position is to be based in Abu dhabi, UAE
The Communication Engineer will be responsible for review and approve all FEED deliverables related to a new PAGA system that shall be installed within the PIB, substation and new desalter plant areas. Ensure all Interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills)
- Eight (8) years of experience; Four (4) years for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
- PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
- FEED and Detail Engineering knowledge is compulsory
- Review and approve all FEED deliverables related to a new PAGA system that shall be installed within the PIB, substation and new desalter plant areas.
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
- Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ensure all Interfaces to Telecommunication System are in place.
Having Experience In Below
- Industrial Security Systems as defined in HCIS directives/Saudi Aramco standards.
- HCIS approval process cycle for Security Systems.
- Security System Coverage study
- Video Surveillance, Video Analytics, Video Management, Facial Recognition, ID/Access Control
- Marine Radars/ LRDAS, MIDS and FOIPS.
- Barriers & Turnstiles control, X-ray, UVIS, EDS systems
- Security networks
- Security Systems servers
- Interface with other communication systems, Safety systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering.
