Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Media Relations Executive supports Arada's inhouse communications team in showcasing the company's growing portfolio of lifestyleled communities and brands. You will drive Arada's media engagement strategy - crafting stories, building journalist relationships, and securing positive coverage across print, broadcast, and digital outlets in the UAE and wider region.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a deep understanding of Arada's brand values and projects.
  • Research media trends, relevant journalists, competitor activity, relevant industry news, and identify opportunities for coverage & engagement.
  • Draft and refine press materials: press releases, feature articles, briefing notes, Q&As, fact sheets, and newsletters.
  • Build and regularly update comprehensive media and journalist databases, including editorial calendars.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key journalists across print, TV, radio, and online platforms.
  • Proactively pitch story ideas, secure interviews, and follow up to convert opportunities into coverage.
  • Coordinate onground media activities such as events, press conferences, site tours, and oneonone interviews.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile timely reports.
  • Support media engagement for Arada's subbrands in close collaboration with each brand's marketing team.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, media studies, communications, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • 12 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a related communications role in Dubai is a must.
  • Agency experience is a must.
  • Proven track record in executing on-ground media events and managing targeted press releases that result in impactful media coverage.

SKILLS

  • Bilingual proficiency: fluent written and spoken Arabic & English.
  • Strong news sense and understanding of what makes a compelling angle for real estate, business, lifestyle, hospitality, and humaninterest stories.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain media relationships, confident with phone and email pitching.
  • Curious, proactive, and storydriven mindset.
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining media lists and reports.
