Communications Specialist

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to develop and drive an integrated communications strategy across the organization. This role will oversee corporate branding, investor relations support, ESG positioning, bid communications, market disclosures, media engagement, and internal communications.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Communications Specialist will play a key role in ensuring alignment between financial reporting, regulatory requirements, corporate messaging, and commercial positioning. The role is critical in safeguarding the company's reputation, strengthening credibility with capital markets, and supporting business growth across global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the company's corporate brand, ensuring consistent messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity across all communications
  • Support the CFO with investor and market communications, including announcements, results releases, and investor materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead ESG and stakeholder communications, promoting sustainability initiatives and strengthening relationships with investors, regulators, and communities
  • Support bid and commercial communications by translating technical information into clear, persuasive proposals and presentations
  • Produce high-quality marketing materials such as capability statements, case studies, and corporate content
  • Manage digital communication channels including the corporate website, LinkedIn, and other external platforms
  • Build and maintain relationships with media while managing press releases, public announcements, and reputation management initiatives
  • Coordinate executive visibility at industry events and conferences, including speaking engagements and briefing materials
  • Deliver effective internal communications aligned with company strategy, organisational initiatives, and leadership messaging
  • Ensure consistency and quality of communications through clear messaging frameworks, brand guidelines, and content governance

Requirements

  • 810+ years experience in corporate communications within mining, energy, or heavy industry
  • Experience supporting executive-level communications (CFO / CEO exposure preferred)
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and regulatory communications (UK-listed exposure advantageous)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
  • Flexible approach, with the willingness to work outside normal hours if required
