Role Overview:
The Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of UAS internal and external communications initiatives. The role plays an important part in enhancing brand visibility, maintaining consistent corporate messaging, supporting media and public relations activities, and producing high-quality content across multiple communication channels. The Communications Specialist works closely with leadership and key departments to ensure communications are aligned with business objectives, corporate values, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce ghost-written op-eds, bylines and feature articles for UAS senior leadership (CEO, VPs, vertical leads), placed in business aviation trade media including AvBuyer, BJTOnline, Corporate Jet Investor, AIN online, Arabian Aerospace and Business Airport International.
- Design and run primary industry research, partnering with established research firms (e.g. YouGov, Kantar, Statista) and specialized aviation trade media to add statistical rigor and editorial reach to UAS-branded findings.
- Translate research into branded white papers, industry reports and data-led content that fuel PR, ABM and sales enablement downstream.
- Develop account-based marketing (ABM) content packages — one-pagers, vertical-specific decks, account-tailored landing pages and sequenced emails — for high-value target accounts in Trip Support and Charter.
- Partner with Sales and SDR teams to tailor messaging by account, persona and pipeline stage; measure ABM asset engagement and feed insights back into the content pipeline.
- Plan and execute public relations initiatives to enhance brand awareness, media visibility and corporate reputation across the US and GCC markets.
- Coordinate with media outlets and external partners to support press releases, media briefings, interviews and trade-media features.
- Maintain a rolling editorial calendar of leadership voices, topical angles and pillar themes; identify and coordinate speaking engagements, awards submissions and conference visibility for senior leadership.
- Monitor and track media coverage, share of voice and PR performance, preparing quarterly insights and reports for management review.
- Conduct research on industry trends, market developments, regulatory changes and competitor activities to surface communication opportunities.
- Produce internal newsletters, leadership cascades and change-management communications; drive employee advocacy on LinkedIn by surfacing external thought leadership inside the company.
- Support communication materials during sensitive situations or crisis scenarios, ensuring messaging remains accurate, timely and aligned with company guidelines.
- Maintain consistency across all communication channels, ensuring adherence to UAS brand identity, tone of voice and corporate messaging standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders — Operations, Sales, Charter, Trip Support and Design — to gather information, develop content and support cross-departmental communication projects.
