Job Description: Cloud System Engineer Commvault Backup Administration Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite Availability: Immediate Preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a Cloud System Engineer to support one of our key customers in Abu Dhabi with daily operational management and monitoring of their Commvault backup infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage daily backup operations using Commvault using cloud tools. Perform regular backup health checks and status reporting of Azure cloud servers Manage backup jobs, resolve failures, and escalate issues as needed. Aid with restoration requests as per defined SLA. Maintain documentation of backup policies, jobs, and assets. Perform basic system administration tasks on Windows and/or Linux servers. Work closely with the remote support team and client-side IT staff to ensure backup integrity. Required Qualifications: Bachelor&aposs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 2- 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure or backup administration. knowledge of Commvault combined with hands on experience in Azure cloud and Comwault cloud tools .and other enterprise backup solution (training or certification is a plus). Familiarity with Windows/Linux server operating systems. Good understanding of system monitoring and incident handling. Ability to document work, follow IT processes, and adhere to ticketing protocols. Preferred Attributes: Strong willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
