Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in Xero, including revenue, expenses, and intercompany entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and resolve differences.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
- Assist in safeguarding and client fund reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of all financial transactions in line with internal controls.
- Assist in month-end closing activities.
- Support audit processes by providing required data and schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams for transaction clarification and data collection.
- Handle ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
- Assist in preparation of data for regulatory and internal reporting.
Qualifications
- Semi-qualified CA / ACCA / CPA or a Bachelor's / master's degree in accounting and finance.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Hands-on experience with Xero as the primary accounting system.
- Experience working in a multi-currency environment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and book-keeping.
- Understanding of bank and intercompany reconciliations.
- Financial Services Experience preferable.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
