Compensation Specialist

Role Description The Compensation Specialist at Pilão Engenharia e Construções LTDA will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs that align with organizational goals and local regulations. This part-time, remote role involves conducting job evaluations, analyzing market data, and assisting in the development and review of salary structures and compensation policies. The specialist will prepare reports and dashboards to monitor pay practices, identify discrepancies, and recommend adjustments to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Daily activities include collaborating with HR and management on compensation decisions, supporting cyclical processes such as salary reviews and adjustments, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable laws and company standards.
Qualifications

• Ability to design and support Compensation Planning and Compensation Management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Experience performing Job Evaluation and developing or maintaining Compensation Structures that promote internal equity.
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting compensation data, market surveys, and HR metrics, and presenting clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Knowledge of compensation principles, local labor and pay regulations, and best practices in reward programs.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and HR or compensation systems for data analysis and reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compensation topics to diverse stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail when working with confidential employee information.
• Relevant academic background in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional HR or compensation certification is an asset.
