Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory, corporate governance, legal, ESG, and operational compliance across the Company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and verify compliance with applicable UAE laws, regulations, resolutions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate regulatory matters and disclosures with SCA and ADX.
  • Monitor material operational, financial, and compliance matters requiring regulatory disclosure.
  • Maintain and audit the insider registry and enforce applicable blackout trading periods.
  • Develop and maintain an annual compliance action plan and update it for regulatory changes.
  • Prepare independent compliance reports for the Audit Committee covering significant matters, irregularities, and systemic risks.
  • Establish and maintain whistleblowing and employee-protection mechanisms.
  • Investigate compliance breaches and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead internal compliance activities and coordinate external corporate and regulatory audits.
  • Coordinate ESG data collection and support preparation of the annual ESG report in accordance with applicable GRI/SASB requirements.
  • Monitor the validity and renewal of MoIAT product certifications, including ECAS and Emirates Quality Mark (EQM).
  • Liaise with FFZA,Civil Defence, and other authorities regarding licenses, permits, approvals, and regulatory matters.
  • Monitor plant emissions and waste-management compliance in accordance with applicable UAE environmental legislation.
  • Coordinate with Municipality, FNRC, Chamber of Commerce, Civil Defence, and other government authorities.
  • Liaise with external advocates and legal consultants on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Provide compliance guidance, awareness, and training to operational and support teams.
  • Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Compliance, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 3–4 years of progressive UAE regulatory compliance experience.
    • Experience working within a listed-company environment and familiarity with SCA/ADX requirements is essential.
    • Experience with UAE regulatory and government portals, including MoIAT and ADX/DFM disclosure platforms, is highly desirable.
    • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, building materials, or another regulated operational environment is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory reporting, compliance risk, internal controls, and investigations.
    • Experience dealing directly with UAE government and regulatory authorities.
    • Strong written and spoken English is essential.
    • Arabic fluency is highly desirable
    • Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder-management, investigation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to provide compliance training and practical guidance to operational teams.
