As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team and lead the charge in ensuring our operations remain fully aligned with local laws, regulations and Munich Re standards.

This is more than just a regulatory role — it's a position at the heart of our governance framework, where your expertise will directly influence how we operate, innovate, and serve our partners and members.

Your Job:

• Lead and maintain the compliance management system, including tools, frameworks, and manuals that meet both local and Munich Re Group standards.
• Act as the key liaison with local regulators, ensuring timely and effective communication and fulfillment of all regulatory obligations.
• Champion a culture of compliance by educating and advising internal teams at all levels on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Oversee and enhance our Financial Crime and AML policies, systems, and controls to ensure robust risk mitigation.
• Support board governance and ensure the entity's legal and compliance obligations are met with transparency and accountability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams and internal auditors to ensure seamless audit processes and continuous improvement.
• Provide legal insight by reviewing contracts and addressing legal queries to support efficient and compliant business operations.

Your profile:

• A Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; certifications in Compliance and AML are highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in compliance, preferably within the insurance, reinsurance, or healthcare sectors.
• Strong understanding of local insurance regulations, commercial law, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to build relationships with regulators and influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with a solutions-oriented approach and a strong sense of ownership.
