Pharma overseas, founded in 1995 by Dr. Ahmad Gazzarine, is a leading pharmaceutical distribution company in Egypt. Location:
o Act as a custodian of vendor agreements and received checklists, performing an analysis to identify compliance gaps that must be addressed and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
o Prepare, amend, and update compliance related policies including and not limited to the code of conduct, conflict of interest, sanctions, anti- money laundry, anti-bribery etc.
o Communicate the principles of compliance across all departments and individuals and respond to all compliance-related inquiries received from internal and/or external parties.
o Ensure all required training related to ethics and compliance is delivered to relevant parties and obtain their acknowledgment of completion/receipt.
o Perform periodic audits to ensure adherence to all compliance requirements/policies.
o Monitor the action to be taken with reference to company policies based on compliance adherence (e.g., provisions for disciplinary action, grievance procedures).
o Monitor the whistleblowing process and ensure it operates with the regulatory and corporate compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
o bachelor's degree in pharmacy, law, business administration or a relevant discipline.
o 37 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, or Internal Audit, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry and/or a multinational environment.
o Fluency in written and spoken English.
o Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
o Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proactive attitude, and the ability to think critically and strategically.
o Compliance certification (e.g., CCEP-I, CFE, ICA, CIA) completed or actively pursuing.
