Role Description
This is a critical full-time, on-site role for a Compromise Recovery Specialist based in Doha, Qatar. The specialist will be responsible for responding to cybersecurity incidents, developing recovery plans, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, o r related field
- a previous role as a compromise recovery specialist.
- 10+ years of experience in system, network, storage and backup administration.
- 10+ years of experience of applied knowledge in containment, remediation and recovery activities from cybersecurity incidents (on-prem and/or cloud) using proven methodologies to ensure secure and efficient restoration of compromised assets while adopting a Zero Trust strategy to enhance the security posture.
- Experience in successfully restoring business-critical assets and services (such a s Tier 0 and Tier 1 ) in ransomware cases and destructive cybersecurity incidents.
- Identifying business and technical risks in the organization's policies and procedures and assessing their impact, and proposing solution, mitigations and contingencies.
- Applied knowledge and experience in developing and improving documentation and research for the compromise remediation and recovery security practice.
- Deep Knowledge and/or experience o f Microsoft security products such a s Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender Suite, etc. And other industry known security solutions.
At least three (3) certificates in:
- Identity and access administrators associate (SC-300)
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-300 & AZ-301)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
