Computer Aided Design Operator

Role Overview:-

The CAD Technician/Operator will be responsible for preparing accurate, high-quality CAD drawings for infrastructure projects in the UAE, including dry utilities and wet utilities. The role involves close coordination with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to produce drawings in compliance with UAE authority standards and project requirements.

The candidate will support all project stages, from concept and detailed design through authority submissions, construction drawings, and as-built documentation, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and timely delivery.

CAD Technician – Dry Utilities

• Prepare electrical MV & LV cable routing and substation drawings.
• Prepare telecom, street lighting, CCTV, and other dry utility drawings.
• Prepare single line diagrams (SLD) and load schedule drawings.
• Prepare building wiring and lighting drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Proven project experience within the UAE
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); Civil 3D highly preferred
• Knowledge of BIM workflows will be an added advantage
• Experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, and master developments.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
