Job Summary
Contribute in managing, installing, updating, usage, and maintaining of internal and external networks, Wi-Fi system. Also, working on their development and ensuring their efficiency and readiness.
Main Tasks
- Continuous design and updating of internal and external networks and ensuring their readiness.
- Identifying, evaluating, and selecting systems and supplies for internal and external network setups.
- Technical organization and supervision of access security to the network, information, other operational systems, and their uses according to defined permissions in coordination with relevant parties.
- Designing, testing, and updating the operation of the main network, internal network, all computer and technical equipment, and various support systems in use.
- Performing regular, continuous, and preventive maintenance and follow-up of devices and auxiliary operating systems to ensure their readiness and monitor performance, modifying and updating them to achieve the required efficiency.
- Managing the network phone system (Cisco Call Center VoIP Telephony).
- Managing network devices such as Cisco and Ruckus.
- Designing and preparing plans for technological projects.
- Reviewing technical support contracts related to the scope of work according to tasks and making recommendations accordingly.
- Contributing to the preparation of the IT center management budget.
- Documenting and periodically updating the technical infrastructure settings.
- Continuously guiding the IT center management regarding technical infrastructure development projects.
- Overall supervision of the server room and IT center communication rooms, monitoring them, and conducting regular maintenance.
- Periodically monitoring network performance using network management tools.
- Quickly diagnosing and resolving connection issues and faults to ensure work continuity.
- Monitoring the network to detect unauthorized activities and responding to security incidents.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Certified network technology qualifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network.
Experience and Skills
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a network administrator role.
- Practical experience in designing, installing, and managing LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Experience managing network operating systems (Linux, Windows Server).
- Ability to use network monitoring and management tools.
