Responsibilities:
Design Revision and Coordination for Construction Documents (35%):
- Lead the review and coordination of design documents and construction drawings to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements and design standards.
- Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to address design-related issues and implement necessary revisions.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
Concept Design for New Projects (Architecture & Master Planning) (25%):
- Drive the concept design process for new architectural projects and master planning initiatives, translating client requirements and project goals into innovative and functional design solutions.
- Provide artistic and visionary leadership to create inspiring and aesthetically pleasing designs that align with client needs and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate functional and sustainable design principles into the conceptualization phase.
Preparation of 2D & 3D Renders and Presentation Materials (25%):
- Oversee the creation of compelling 2D and 3D renders and presentation materials to effectively communicate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and visual impact of presentation materials, including drawings, renderings, visualizations, and virtual reality experiences.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to enhance the visual communication of design concepts.
Design Management (15%):
- Manage design-related tasks, such as preparing meeting minutes, facilitating design reviews, and overseeing the technical revision of requests for proposals (RFPs) and proposals.
- Conduct area tabulation and area analysis for new projects to inform design decisions and project planning.
- Provide guidance and support in the development of contract documents and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's of Architecture.
Work Experience: from 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in architectural design, with a focus on concept development and design coordination.
Software Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, 3D Max, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office.
Technical Skills:
- Strong design skills with a demonstrated ability to create innovative and functional architectural designs.
- Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in technical writing to accurately document design revisions, RFPs, and proposals.
