The Role of our Ideal Candidate
As a Concierge Agent, you will be the trusted ambassador of the resort, curating experiences that inspire and delight our guests. Your local knowledge, intuition, and attention to detail will ensure every stay feels effortless from restaurant reservations and airport transfers to personalized itineraries and secret local recommendations.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on creating connections, anticipating needs, and delivering seamless, thoughtful service that reflects true luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and discretion upon arrival and throughout their stay.
- Assist with guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests, ensuring responses are timely, accurate, and personalized.
- Arrange transportation, dining, excursions, and entertainment in coordination with external partners and internal departments.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, cultural highlights, and events in Ajman, Dubai, and the UAE.
- Prepare tailored itineraries for guests seeking personalized experiences.
- Liaise with Front Office, Bell Desk, and Guest Relations to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
- Handle VIP and repeat guests with special attention to detail and discretion.
- Maintain accurate guest preference records in Opera PMS and ensure seamless coordination across departments.
- Support the daily operation of the Concierge Desk, including inventory, reporting, and handovers.
- Uphold LQA and Forbes service standards in all guest interactions.
- Manage lost-and-found items with professionalism and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Concierge, Guest Services, or Front Office role within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
- Exceptional knowledge of the UAE region, tourist attractions, and cultural landmarks.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, or French are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Passion for delivering intuitive, bespoke service with genuine warmth.
- Excellent grooming and presentation standards.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
