Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Administrator to manage and oversee contracts across construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, GCC civil law, and construction consultancy agreements, with a keen eye for risk management and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts.
- Assessing legal and contractual risks to protect the organization.
- Preparation and management of claims.
- Handling contract clarifications, responses to PTC, and RFPs.
- Ensuring compliance with FIDIC contracts and other relevant frameworks.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong understanding of GCC civil law as it relates to construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction contract terminology and associated risks from both consultant and vendor perspectives.
- Knowledge of construction consultancy agreements, including liabilities and insurance coverage (Professional Indemnity, Third Party Liability, and Workers Compensation).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Arabic.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Law, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in construction contracts administration.
