At Americana (Egypt), you'll lead and oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are executed according to approved designs, specifications, timelines, and safety standards. You'll work closely with Contractors, Project Managers, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within scope while maintaining the highest construction standards.
You'll also play a key role in site coordination, progress monitoring, reporting, and resolving on-site challenges, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement in project delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Define the construction brands strategy, annual tactic, aligned to business strategy and objectives across the market.
- Sets construction budgets and maintains targets set for NSO, Remodels, Special projects including Cap Ex cost models per brand / asset to release construction package for tender.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in achievement of new stores opening targets.
- Manage the project's phase, identify additional governance required around meetings with various technical and functional stakeholders and direct the right functional and technical heads to provide status updates, perform follow ups and ensure a successful completion of the project's phase(s)
- Direct, supervise and manage project(s) and/or multi-project programs ensuring the quality of deliverables on time and within budget.
- Monitor actuals / forecasts against DA's including assessment against brand specific incentives to maximize savings for the company.
- Prepare Construction Program and timeline.
- Manage the construction team and update with the start of construction and regularly visits work sites to ensure that construction progress as agreed
- Organize and lead meetings with senior stakeholders from brand leads, third parties and investigate major concerns raised by stakeholders in the market.
- Follow up on the Project management and monitor construction details and Criteria.
- Monitor the Project Manager and address all Site queries and drawing clarifications.
- Implement individual asset/brand standards for NSO and remodels.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, major architecture
- PMP is a must.
- MBA is preferable.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering or relevant preferably in the same industry.
JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Specialist in 3D Concept presentations using Sketchup, 3D Studio Max for Architectural and Interior Design works.
