Job Description
The Construction Manager - Fit Out is responsible for overseeing and managing the fit-out construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Job Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of fit-out construction projects.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to construction schedules.
- Manage project budget, including cost estimation, budget forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status.
- Manage and lead a team of construction professionals and site personnel.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive client relationships throughout the project.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, specifically in fit-out projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- Certification in Project Management or similar field is a plus.
