The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all on-site construction activities to ensure industrial projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards, project specifications, and UAE regulations. Proven experience in industrial construction projects is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities for industrial projects, including factories, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, processing plants, and other heavy industrial developments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage daily site operations, including subcontractors, direct labor, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
  • Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project schedules, and applicable industrial standards.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource utilization, implementing corrective actions to maintain project milestones.
  • Coordinate closely with the Technical Office, Planning, QA/QC, MEP, Procurement, and HSE teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee the installation and coordination of industrial systems, utilities, and infrastructure while ensuring integration with civil, structural, and MEP works.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE building regulations, industrial codes and standards, QHSE requirements, and client specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize delays and cost impacts.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to senior management, highlighting project status, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Attend client, consultant, and subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE managing industrial construction projects.
  • Industrial construction experience is mandatory, with proven experience in projects such as factories, manufacturing plants, warehouses, logistics facilities, processing plants, power or utility facilities, or similar industrial developments.
  • Strong experience in structural concrete works, steel structures, industrial infrastructure, and high-specification industrial finishing works.
  • Sound knowledge of UAE construction regulations, industrial building codes, and HSE standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
