Job Description

Role Purpose The Fit-Out Construction Manager is responsible for leading the on-site delivery of kitchen projects from pre-construction through installation, handover, and close-out. The role ensures that designs are executed according to technical standards, coordinating between clients, main contractors, MEP trades, production timelines, and installation teams to achieve a seamless, on-time delivery with zero defects. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Pre-Construction Review design drawings, manage shop drawings process, and technical submissions prior to execution. Prepare detailed site execution plans aligned with installation methodology. Verify site readiness for kitchen installation (MEP rough-in, tiling, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, ceiling levels, wall straightness, etc.). Conduct site surveys and measurements as required for final design validation. Coordinate approval of samples, finishes, and mock-ups where applicable. Participate in technical clarification meetings with consultants, main contractors, and developers. 2. Coordination & Stakeholder Management Act as primary on-site representative for all project execution matters. Interface daily with main contractors, MEP subcontractors, consultants, PMC, and client representatives. Coordinate multiple trades to ensure no blockers during installation (mechanical, electrical, civil, and finishing). Ensure compliance with technical installation standards and production tolerances. Escalate design conflicts, site obstacles, or technical inconsistencies with the internal technical team. 3. Installation Execution Supervise and manage

installation teams and subcontract installers. Monitor delivery schedule of kitchen modules, components, appliances, and accessories. Oversee unloading, staging, and material handling on site to prevent damage. Ensure sequence of works is followed. Verify countertop, backsplash, and stoneworks integration with appointed parties. Lead daily site progress tracking and maintain updated installation logs. 4. Quality Control & Technical Compliance Conduct quality inspections during every execution phase. Validate alignment, levels, tolerances, panel finish integrity, hinge performance, drawer systems, and soft-close functions. Enforce corrective actions and defect resolution with installation teams. Ensure appliances are fitted, aligned, and protected until handover. Monitor compliance with site safety regulations and HSE standards. 5. Handover & Close-Out Prepare snag/defect lists and ensure full rectification prior to handover. Conduct testing and commissioning for appliances when required. Manage client walk-throughs and obtain sign-offs. Submit final handover documentation and warranty packages. Ensure post-handover service schedule is coordinated with after-sales support. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain weekly project progress reports (with photos, status, blockers, schedule updates). Maintain AS-BUILTs and red-line markups if site modifications occur. Participate in weekly coordination meetings with stakeholders. Report risks, delays, and change requests promptly to management. Qualifications & Competencies Technical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Fit-Out, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years in fit-out or joinery construction with direct experience in cabinets/joinery/ kitchens, or millwork. Strong understanding of site coordination between MEP, civil works, and finishing trades. . Software & Tools AutoCAD (read + mark-up proficiency) MS Project or similar scheduling tools (preferred) MS Office (reporting) BIM exposure is a plus Ability to read multi-disciplinary drawings (MEP, structural, architectural) Key Competencies Strong communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and installation quality Technical problem-solving Time management and multi-project handling Leadership & team supervision Ability to work under deadlines and site constraints Other Requirements Must be comfortable with field work and construction site environments. This is a site based job for most of the times. The candidate must be willing to travel across projects on daily basis as required. Valid UAE driving license is a must
