We are currently seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to join our leadership team and oversee the execution of large-scale power and infrastructure projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager in identifying and minimizing project risks and aligning plans with project milestones.
• Review constructability, approve shop drawings, and verify coordination with project timelines.
• Assist in value engineering reviews and support revised schedules and resource allocation strategies.
• Lead planning for execution sequences, resource deployment, and performance monitoring through weekly and daily work programs.
• Collaborate with Cost Control Engineers and Section Engineers to implement cost-saving strategies and monitor project budgets.
• Coordinate with the Cost Engineer to develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and maintain detailed cost tracking.
• Promote a strong safety culture by monitoring site activities, attending safety meetings, and enforcing corrective actions.
• Identify and mentor high-potential site staff for career progression and skills development.
• Oversee all aspects of site setup, equipment needs, maintenance plans, and cost-effective demobilization.
• Develop trade-specific execution strategies, prioritize activities, and ensure compliance with project procurement agreements.
• Manage site supervision, resolve issues proactively, conduct coordination meetings, and avoid project claims.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, ensure all necessary permits are secured, and uphold compliance standards.
• Plan manpower allocations based on productivity analysis, optimize workforce performance, and support cost control initiatives.
• Participate in recruitment interviews and evaluate new candidates for project needs.
• Assist the PM in establishing project-specific roles, objectives, and KPIs for team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Arch., Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in construction management, preferably within EPC or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in planning, risk management, execution strategy, and project team leadership.
• Strong understanding of cost control, procurement procedures, and resource management.
• Excellent command of MS Office, project management software (Primavera P6/MS Project), and AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
