A Mechanical Construction Manager is required to join an international EPC contractor working on offshore oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all mechanical construction activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements, and HSE regulations.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Monitor construction progress, productivity, and resource utilization to achieve project milestones.
- Identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures to avoid project delays.
- Ensure efficient deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Provide regular construction progress reports to project management and stakeholders.
Applicants sgould meet the following criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with extensive exposure to offshore construction projects.
- Proven experience in managing mechanical construction activities for offshore platforms, facilities, pipelines, topsides, modules, or similar Oil & Gas projects.
- Mandatory Gulf/Middle East experience.
- Strong knowledge of offshore construction methodologies, fabrication, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with experience leading large multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Thorough understanding of international Oil & Gas standards and HSE requirements.
- Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
