Job Overview:

The Construction Manager (Fit-out) is responsible for ensuring the quality of all civil/Fit-Out works and materials used on site. This role involves inspecting project deliverables, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, construction drawings, and applicable standards. Play a key role in maintaining quality control documentation, coordinating with site teams, and implementing corrective/preventive actions when non-conformities arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseas construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
  • Creates and reviews Requests for Information and Request of Proposal and Change Orders.
  • Guarantees that all work is preformed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
  • Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
  • Provide technical support to Project Manager.
  • Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
  • Performs change orders estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
  • Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
  • Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors construction schedules.
  • Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project cost and potential changes.
  • Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders.
  • Attend client program meetings as needed.
  • The above are the main responsibilities but not limited to.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years for experience is required in UAE/GCC.
  • Strong knowledge & experience of Fit-Out is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates with 5 Star hotel Fit-out experience preferred.
  • Proactive, passionate, and enthusiastic
  • Strong team coordination & attending meetings with stakeholders.
  • Candidate must be available in the UAE.
  • Immediate Joiner preferred
