We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Surgeon to perform advanced surgical procedures on the heart and major vessels. The role involves managing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac surgical procedures such as:
- Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
- Valve repair/replacement
- Congenital heart defect surgeries
- Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical treatment plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and ICU teams
- Lead and supervise surgical teams in operating rooms
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in emergency/on-call cardiac surgeries
- Contribute to clinical audits, research, and teaching activities
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and Saudi healthcare regulations
Qualifications & Requirements (KSA Standard)
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic / Cardiac Surgery(Saudi Board / US Board / UK CCT / FRCS / European Board preferred)
- Minimum 3–5+ years post-specialty experience in cardiac surgery
- Valid medical license (or eligibility for SCFHS licensing)
- Fellowship training in cardiac surgery preferred
- Experience in minimally invasive/advanced cardiac techniques is an advantage
