Key Responsibilities
- Perform and accurately interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound examinations
- Provide detailed and timely diagnostic reports to referring clinicians and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Ensure compliance with imaging protocols and safety standards to guarantee high-quality patient care
- Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures and quality assurance programs
- Mentor junior radiologists and contribute to ongoing education and training initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in diagnostic radiology through continuous professional development
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to academic activities where applicable
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Diagnostic Radiology
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the UAE, preferably in Sharjah
- Minimum of 5 years of post-certification experience in diagnostic radiology
- Proficient in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities and performing diagnostic procedures
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
