Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician

We are currently recruiting an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician for one of our esteemed clients in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive emergency care, manage critically ill and trauma patients, and ensure prompt diagnosis and effective treatment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions.
• Provide immediate and comprehensive care for critically ill and injured patients.
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions as clinically indicated.
• Manage medical, surgical, traumatic, and life-threatening emergencies.
• Lead the resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill patients.
• Interpret laboratory results, ECGs, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Make appropriate decisions regarding admission, discharge, referral, and transfer of patients.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Emergency Medicine Specialists, physicians, and junior medical staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, clinical governance, and quality improvement standards.
• Participate in teaching, training, audits, and continuing medical education activities..

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Strong experience in emergency resuscitation, trauma management, and critical care.
• Excellent clinical, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
