A leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist to join its specialist medical team.
The successful candidate will provide Consultant-level care for patients with complex endocrine and metabolic disorders and contribute to high-quality multidisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Consultant-level assessment, diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Manage complex endocrine conditions and long-term chronic disease.
Provide specialist management of diabetes and its complications.
Assess and manage thyroid, adrenal, pituitary and parathyroid disorders.
Manage calcium and metabolic bone disorders where appropriate.
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing patient follow-up.
Work collaboratively with other medical and surgical specialties.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical decision-making.
Support teaching, mentoring and supervision of junior physicians.
Participate in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement activities.
Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and patient safety.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Medical degree such as MBBS, MBChB or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.
Recognized postgraduate qualification/training in Endocrinology / Endocrinology and Diabetes / Diabetes & Metabolism, as appropriate to the intended Consultant classification.
Substantial Consultant-level experience in Endocrinology.
Recognized Western qualification required in accordance with the employer's criteria.
Must be eligible for SCFHS professional classification at Consultant level in Endocrinology.
Valid professional registration/licensing in the country of current practice.
Ability to provide the relevant qualification, registration and experience documentation required for SCFHS assessment and verification.
Bilingual Arabic and English communication skills required.
