Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Endocrinologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with international clinical standards.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive endocrine services and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, and metabolic conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive endocrine evaluations and interpret hormonal and metabolic investigations.
  • Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans for endocrine patients.
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient endocrinology consultations.
  • Provide advanced diabetes management including insulin therapy, CGM systems, and lifestyle counseling.
  • Collaborate with internal medicine physicians, nephrologists, cardiologists, dietitians, bariatric teams, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education programs.
  • Ensure adherence to patient safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties).
  • Board Certification / Fellowship in Endocrinology.
  • Valid SCFHS Consultant Registration/License or eligibility.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of post-board consultant experience in Endocrinology within a reputed tertiary care or academic hospital.
  • Strong expertise in diabetes and endocrine disorder management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and patient counseling skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in advanced diabetes technologies and insulin pump therapy.
  • Exposure to obesity medicine and metabolic disorders.
  • Academic and research experience is an advantage.
  • Arabic speaking skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.
