Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed assessments to identify surgical needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Execute complex surgical procedures while ensuring adherence to best practices
- Oversee pre-operative and post-operative patient management and monitor recovery processes
- Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, anesthetists, and specialists, to deliver high-quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and compliance with hospital policies
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families about surgical procedures and recovery
- Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of the latest surgical innovations
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS) recognized by relevant medical boards
- Completion of a General Surgery residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
- A minimum of 5 years of surgical experience in a recognized healthcare setting
- Demonstrated surgical proficiency and ability to manage diverse surgical cases effectively
- Exceptional communication skills and compassion for patient care
- A team-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
