We are seeking a highly experienced
Consultant Geriatrician (Arabic Speaker) to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care for older adults, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of age-related health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in elderly patients.
- Develop individualized care plans addressing complex medical, functional, and cognitive needs.
- Manage conditions such as dementia, frailty, falls, osteoporosis, polypharmacy, and chronic diseases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including rehabilitation, nursing, and social services.
- Promote healthy aging, preventive care, and patient education.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and medical education.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Recognized Board Certification/CCT/Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine with specialization in Geriatrics.
- Valid DOH License/Eligibility Letter or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum 3–5 years of Consultant-level experience in Geriatric Medicine.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
