A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its neonatal and critical newborn care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join its growing clinical team. Role Overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, neonatology nurses, pediatric specialists, allied health professionals, and advanced neonatal care infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care for newborns requiring routine, complex, and intensive neonatal management
- Manage critically ill neonates, including premature infants and newborns with respiratory, cardiac, neurological, or metabolic conditions
- Lead neonatal assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical management
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, surgeons, NICU teams, and allied healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care
- Participate in neonatal rounds, multidisciplinary discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits
- Support family communication, counselling, documentation, patient safety, and infection control practices within the neonatal unit
Requirements

- American Board of Pediatrics - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- UK CCT / MRCPCH with Neonatal Medicine accreditation
- European Board / national specialist certification in Neonatology
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FRACP - Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine
- Arab Board
- MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
