Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage cranial, spinal, neurovascular, neuro-oncology and neurotrauma cases according to expertise
• Perform neurosurgical procedures with safe patient selection, consent and perioperative planning
• Coordinate care with neurology, ICU, radiology, oncology, rehabilitation and emergency teams
• Manage acute neurological deterioration, postoperative care, complications and long-term follow-up
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, tumour boards and trauma pathways
• Support surgical governance, infection control, audit and patient safety initiatives
  
  

Requirements

• American Board of Neurological Surgery
• UK CCT / FRCS Neurosurgery
• European Board / national neurosurgery specialist certification
• Royal College Certification (Canada)
• Australian FRACS
