A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its orthopedic outpatient, trauma, and elective surgical services and is seeking a highly skilled
Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join its growing clinical team. Role Overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment alongside experienced consultants, anesthesiologists, nurses, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, and allied healthcare professionals, supported by advanced diagnostic imaging, operating theatres, and modern surgical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, sports injuries, degenerative joint disease, spinal conditions, and other orthopedic disorders
- Perform orthopedic procedures within the scope of practice, including trauma fixation, joint replacement (arthroplasty), arthroscopy, fracture management, and other elective or emergency orthopedic surgeries
- Evaluate surgical candidates, develop individualized treatment plans, obtain informed consent, and oversee perioperative and postoperative care
- Collaborate with radiology, anesthesia, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and other specialties to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care
- Monitor patient recovery through outpatient follow-up, functional rehabilitation planning, and management of postoperative complications
- Maintain compliance with patient safety standards, surgical protocols, clinical documentation, infection prevention measures, and international quality and clinical governance guidelines

- American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
- UK CCT / FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics)
- European Board / National Specialist Certification
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FRACS
- Arab Board
- MS / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognized specialist qualification
