We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and surgically manage disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The role involves providing comprehensive orthopedic care, including trauma management, elective surgeries, and post-operative rehabilitation, while working closely with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles
- Perform orthopedic surgeries including trauma, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and fracture fixation
- Manage orthopedic emergencies and trauma cases
- Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up care
- Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists for patient rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety, and infection control standards
- Participate in on-call rotations as required
- Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Specialization in Orthopedic Surgery
- Board certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 25 years of post-specialization experience
- Proven surgical skills and clinical decision-making ability
