About The Role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its multidisciplinary pain management, interventional procedures and rehabilitation services and is seeking an experienced Consultant Pain Medicine specialist to join its clinical team.

The role offers an opportunity for an internationally trained clinician to work within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will provide advanced pain management while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute, chronic, cancer-related, neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain conditions
• Perform image-guided pain procedures, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation and joint interventions
• Develop multimodal pain management plans incorporating medication optimisation, rehabilitation, psychological support and lifestyle interventions
• Coordinate patient care with orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, rheumatology and rehabilitation teams
• Educate patients regarding long-term pain management, functional restoration and safe use of analgesic medications
• Maintain high standards of informed consent, clinical documentation, procedural safety and treatment outcome monitoring
  
  

Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Pain Medicine specialists holding recognised qualifications such as:

• American Board certification with Pain Medicine fellowship
• UK CCT with Pain Medicine credentialing
• FRCA / FFPMRCA or an equivalent recognised qualification
• European Diploma or recognised Pain Medicine fellowship
• Royal College Certification, Canada
• Australian Fellowship with Pain Medicine subspecialty training
• Arab Board or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
  
  

Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America may be considered, subject to eligibility for UAE medical licensing and the healthcare facility's credentialing requirements.
