About the Company

Stafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE.

About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon with strong expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of congenital, developmental, traumatic, and complex musculoskeletal conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.

The successful candidate will join a progressive clinical environment equipped to deliver advanced, patient-centred pediatric orthopedic care.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired pediatric musculoskeletal disorders
  • Treat pediatric fractures, deformities, limb length discrepancies, and sports-related injuries
  • Perform elective and emergency pediatric orthopedic surgeries
  • Manage complex spinal, hip, foot, and upper/lower limb conditions in children
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support departmental education, teaching, and service development
  • Provide comprehensive perioperative and postoperative care for pediatric orthopedic patients

Qualifications

  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
  • Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
  • Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive experience in pediatric orthopedic surgery
  • Expertise in managing congenital, developmental, and traumatic musculoskeletal conditions in children
  • Strong surgical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making capabilities
  • Experience managing complex pediatric orthopedic cases
  • Excellent communication and family-centred patient care skills
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and service quality
