About the Role
We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Pulmonologist & Intensivist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex respiratory conditions and critically ill patients. The successful candidate will provide advanced pulmonary and intensive care services, utilizing evidence-based practices, advanced diagnostic tools, and multidisciplinary approaches to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions
• Provide comprehensive critical care management for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Manage complex pulmonary cases, respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction
• Perform and oversee advanced respiratory and critical care procedures
• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced airway support
• Provide pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative respiratory and critical care support
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based guidelines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including intensivists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support medical education, training, and departmental development
Qualifications
• Board certification in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine or equivalent
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Pulmonology and Intensive Care Medicine
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
Required Skills
• Extensive experience in managing complex respiratory and critical care cases
• Expertise in ICU management and critically ill patient care
• Advanced airway management and mechanical ventilation expertise
• Experience with bronchoscopy, respiratory procedures, and critical care interventions
• Strong clinical decision-making and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities
• Commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement
