Responsibilities
- Perform advanced surgical procedures on patients with complex and advanced-stage cancers
- Assess and diagnose cancer patients to determine the most effective surgical treatment plans
- Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists to formulate comprehensive, multidisciplinary care plans
- Oversee pre-operative and post-operative patient management to ensure optimal recovery and care quality
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records of surgical interventions and patient progress
- Provide patient and family education on advanced cancer surgical options and postoperative care
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in surgical oncology and apply best practices in clinical care
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Surgical Oncology from an accredited medical institution
- Board certification and valid licensure to practice in Sharjah/UAE or willingness to obtain licensure
- Proven experience in handling advanced and complex cancer surgeries with excellent surgical skills
- Strong understanding of oncology treatment protocols and multidisciplinary cancer care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical setting
- Commitment to continual professional development and staying abreast of advancements in surgical oncology
