Your Mission
As a Manager Data & AI Consultant, you will lead complex data transformation programs from end to end, managing multidisciplinary teams and cultivating strong client partnerships. You will act as the primary client contact to drive the strategic direction for data and AI initiatives, ensuring delivery excellence and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
- Lead multiple, large-scale data and AI consulting projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and Apgar's service quality standards.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of consultants and analysts, fostering skills development, collaboration, and excellence.
- Cultivate strong client relationships at senior and executive levels, act as trusted advisor on Data Strategy, Master Data Management, AI change management and transformation, AI use case and solutions deployment, Data Governance and Operating Model.
- Drive business growth by identifying new business opportunities and supporting commercial efforts such as tender responses and proposal development.
Project Delivery & Innovation
- Oversee the full project lifecyclefrom scoping, design, and implementation to testing, adoption, and optimization of data and AI solutions.
- Ensure the technical and functional quality of deliverables, leveraging Apgar's core offerings: advisory, enablement and solutions.
- Promote best practices in data governance, change management, and adoption to maximize client value.
- Lead innovation efforts by incorporating emerging technologies and methodologies to keep Apgar's solutions cutting-edge.
Business Development
- Lead pre-sales activities, taking ownership of tender process from drafting business proposals, respecting timelines and establishing technical and financial proposal.
- Identify new opportunities through client engagement and building client relationships.
Internal Impact & Thought Leadership
- Play a key role in expanding Apgar's internal knowledge base and service offerings through framework development, training, and thought leadership.
- Represent Apgar in industry forums, conferences, and client workshops to strengthen brand positioning and build networks.
- Collaborate with other leaders on strategy, talent development, and operational improvements within the growing UAE entity.
Your Profile
- Master's degree (or equivalent) with 7+ years of combined consulting or IT services experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven success leading complex data or AI transformation projects, ideally spanning business strategy, governance, and advanced analytics.
- Strong business acumen combined with deep technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing diverse teams, mentoring consultants, and fostering high-performance cultures.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, fluent in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
