We invite applications for the Consulting Design Engineer with exceptional expertise in CAD modelling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of converting CAD drawings to precise 3D models for varied analyses, and eager to contribute to our forward-thinking team.
EXPERTISE REQUIREMENT:
Hands on experience in understanding complex CAD drawings, creating intricate CAD models and refining designs with ANSYS SpaceClaim and Ansys Discovery.
Experience in the conversion of 2D/3D CAD drawings into simulation-ready 3D models, overcoming geometric challenges to ensure simulation integrity.
Handling dirty CAD cleaning with the tools and empowering the tasks with automations using programming skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project execution primarily covers CAD model generation and clean-up.
Handle project cost and time estimates, proposal writing, and timely delivery of project.
Responsible for consulting cost & time estimation, proposal writing, project execution, and timely delivery of results.
Demonstrate rapid learning ability for new concepts and technologies, logical problem-solving, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Maintain strong organizational and time management skills and exhibit a go-to person persona for technical guidance within the technical team.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Holds a B.E. in Mechanical or Chemical or Aerospace or any relevant discipline.
Brings at least 3+ years of direct experience in pre-processing for simulation, with a proven track record in CAD tools like AutoCAD, CATIA, and ANSYS SpaceClaim.
Engaging personality with a drive for continuous learning, strong business acumen, and professional manner during customer interactions.
