Based on operation/system standards, oversee the analysis, planning, direction, and coordination of overall CY operation. Manage the entire process from arrival of containers in HMMME factory to container transport to C/C, in alignment with HMMME's production plan.
Experience:
Two (2) years experience in production/logistics management or automobile production logistics preferred.
▪ The objective of operation management is to efficiently utilize allocated logistics resources to deliver the specified containers, in the specified quantity, to the specified location, within the designated time.
▪ Resource allocation must be based on analysis of workload by personnel, equipment, and tasks.
▪ All parts required for HMMME production are supplied through GAR. A delay in the supply of even one item can impact the production line operation.
▪ If a production line stoppage at HMMME is caused by GAR, it may incur significant claim costs; therefore, constant pre-checks and verifications are essential to prevent any stoppages.
▪ Incorrect container supply leads to additional logistics resource consumption and potential claims. Any logistics quality issues must be resolved as quickly as possible.
▪ CY operations are managed through the GCS system, covering the entire process from CY arrival, location, inventory control, relocation, loading/unloading, shuttle transport, taking out empty containers; thus, full understanding of the system is essential.
▪ Operational efficiency and performance improvement must be pursued through logistics data KPI management.
▪ GLOVIS handles the entire logistics scope from overseas parts procurement to sales logistics. Therefore, the CY manager must understand the full process.
▪ Failure of CY equipment (reach stacker) & shuttle transport vehicle (yard tractor-trailer) will have a significant impact on HMMME production, so all equipment & vehicle must be repaired/maintained through regular equipment inspection. Repairable vendors/personnel must be pre-arranged.
▪ Efficient management of both employee and outsourced personnel is required, and countermeasures for absences should be prepared in advance.
▪ KSA local laws and HMMME internal regulations related to safety and environment must be strictly followed.
